  • The CW Announces 2025 College Football Broadcast Teams and New Pre-Game Show

    The CW Network has revealed its broadcast lineup for the 2025 college football season, including returning commentators and a brand-new live pre-show, CW Football Saturday Countdown. ACC coverage will again feature Thom Brennaman on play-by-play, joined by analyst Will Blackmon and sideline reporter Wes Bryant. Brennaman brings decades of NFL and MLB experience, while Blackmon is a Super Bowl champion and seasoned analyst. Pac-12 games will be called by hall-of-famer Ted Robinson, with former NFL QB Ryan Leaf providing analysis and Nigel Burton reporting from the field. Robinson and Leaf both bring deep ties to Pac-12 football. In the studio, Mike Yam returns as host of CW Football Saturday, alongside analyst Michael Bumpus. The team expands this year with the debut of CW Football Saturday Countdown, airing Saturdays at 4:00 p.m. ET, and featuring George Wrighster for weekly game previews and insights. The season kicks off August 30 with Idaho at Washington State (Pac-12) at 10:00 p.m. ET, followed by ACC action starting September 6 with Baylor at SMU at noon. It will be held on Saturday August 2nd, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (or until supplies run out), at the Pleasant Crossing Walmart Supercenter in Rogers, Arkansas. The CW network and PBR (Professional Bull Riders) have announced a multi-year partnership that will make The CW the exclusive broadcast home of Saturday and Sunday PBR Camping World Team Series events. The live broadcasts will kick off on Saturday, August 9, in Sunrise, Florida, and continue for 10 weekends, ending on Sunday, October 26, in Las Vegas. PBR, the premier bull riding organization, features over 1,000 riders competing in 200 events annually. The PBR Teams format, launched in 2022, elevates the action by staging five-on-five team matchups, judged based on qualifying 8-second rides. Winners are determined by the team with the highest aggregate score.
