  • Fall & Winter Fashion Frenzy: Highlights from NWA Fashion Week Runway Show at Fayetteville Public Library

    Design by Fashion Designer Rulli Torres 2024 On November 1st and 2nd, fashion enthusiasts gathered at the Fayetteville Public Library for the Autumn/Winter NWA Fashion Week Event presented by INTERFORM. This vibrant event offered free panels and classes on fashion related topics over two days, culminating in a magnificent fashion shows. A free Matinee fashion show in the afternoon followed by a ticketed show in the evening featuring renowned Fashion Designers Korto Momolu and Rulli Torres. The runway also spotlighted EMERGE designers and student designers. INTERFORM presented several awards throughout the evening show. RULLI TORRES Fashion Designer Rulli Torres is an alumnus of Rogers High School and a graduate of NWA Community College and the University of Arkansas. He led the runway presentation on Saturday night with an explosion of cultural vibrancy and creativity. Originating from Guanajuato, Mexico, Rulli dedicated his show to his mother, Felicitas Almaraz, who profoundly inspired his life. This dedication also extended to honor the Día de Muertos celebrations, adding a heartfelt cultural touch to his collection. The event was a beautiful blend of fashion, culture, and community spirit. Her designs, rich in traditional luxury fabrics, beautifully reflect her heritage, creating a global brand in women's wear and accessories. Beyond fashion, Korto dedicates her time and talent to numerous charitable and philanthropic causes, making a significant impact beyond the runway. Recognized by New York Magazine as one of the Top 5 designers to watch, Korto continues to be a powerful presence in the fashion world, inspiring with her unique blend of cultural expression and style.
