At this year’s Fort Smith International Film Festival, we had the chance to sit down with filmmaker Pauline Angelina, whose creative vision and storytelling are making waves on the independent film scene. Pauline Angelina, the writer, director, production designer, and editor of Love is Like a Mountain. Inspired by her personal relationship with her late father, Pauline’s film explores themes of family, communication, and the search for recognition while reminding audiences of the importance of cherishing loved ones. Her heartfelt storytelling has moved viewers to tears and sparked meaningful reflections about reconnecting with parents.
