Christmas Honors is a community-led volunteer event dedicated to honoring the fallen servicemen and women laid to rest at the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Each December, thousands of volunteers gather to place a wreath on every headstone, more than 16,000 in total, creating a powerful display of gratitude and remembrance for the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice. Tucked in the heart of Greenwood stands one of the city’s oldest, and perhaps most mysterious, buildings: the Old Sebastian County Jail.
