Ghosts, History, and the Greenwood Jailhouse: A Look Inside One of Arkansas’ Oldest Landmarks
Tucked in the heart of Greenwood stands one of the city’s oldest, and perhaps most mysterious, buildings: the Old Sebastian County Jail. Built between 1889 and 1891 by master mason Ike Kunkel, the two-story stone structure once held prisoners waiting to be transported to Fort Smith.
