ArtCon 2026, Presented By The Neosho Art Council, Returns On February 7th!

Clear your schedule, charge your phone, and start practicing your autograph pose, ArtCon 2026 is landing in Neosho, and it’s bringing a galaxy of creative talent with it. Presented by the Neosho Arts Council, ArtCon 2026 takes place Saturday, February 7th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Neosho Junior High, which will be transformed for one full day into a buzzing hub of comics, pop culture, art, and imagination.
Whether you’re a lifelong fan of comics and sci-fi, an aspiring artist, or just someone who loves cool things and cooler people, this is one event you won’t want to miss.
General Admission is $5 per person. Kids under 5 get in for free.

ArtCon 2026 Special Guests
ArtCon 2026 has assembled an incredible lineup of creators, writers, artists, and performers — many with deep ties to comics, animation, television, and film.
Chase Masterson
Actress, singer, and producer best known as Leeta on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Lower Decks. She’s also appeared on General Hospital, Sliders, and ER, voiced animated characters, released multiple music albums, and won Best Feature Film Producer at the LA Femme Film Festival.
Chase is also the co-founder of the Pop Culture Hero Coalition, which fights bullying and hate in fandom spaces, making her not just iconic, but inspiring.
Clay Adams
Voice actor, writer, director, and comic creator with credits including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fast Forward and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX.
Clay is the co-writer of PRODIGAL SON (with Cobra Kai’s Martin Kove), creator of RED XMAS, ELECTRIC YOUTH, and contributor to NIGHTMARE THEATER. His work has been featured in the LA Times, and he’s been named one of the Top Indie Comic Creators to Watch.
Ande Parks
A comic book legend with nearly 30 years in the industry. He’s worked on Daredevil, Superman, Wonder Woman, Nightwing, Ant-Man, and had a celebrated run on Green Arrow.
Ande developed Ciudad, which became Netflix’s mega-hit Extraction starring Chris Hemsworth — now Netflix’s most-watched feature film ever. (Yes. Ever.)
Megan Levens
Cartoonist known for work on Star Trek, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel City, and Madame Frankenstein. She’s currently creating interior art for Star Trek: Red Shirts from IDW Publishing.
Also important to know: Megan is owned by two rescue dogs who absolutely run the household.
Kevin Mellon
Director of Hit-Monkey Season 2 (Marvel/Hulu), Art Director on Season 1, and long-time storyboard director and artist on the Emmy-winning Archer.
Kevin has worked across animation, TV, and comics, including Suicide Sisters, Gearhead, LoveSTRUCK, and more for Marvel, IDW, and beyond.
Jeremy Haun
Creator and artist behind The Realm, The Beauty, Red Mother, and The Approach. He recently completed Haunthology via Kickstarter and has worked on Batwoman, Constantine, and more.
Bonus local pride: Jeremy lives in Joplin, Missouri.
Cullen Bunn
One of the most prolific writers in comics today, known for The Sixth Gun, Harrow County, Bone Parish, The Empty Man, and The Damned, plus major Marvel and DC titles like Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe, Uncanny X-Men, Venom, and Magneto. JimmyZ Johnston
Comic writer who made his professional debut co-writing Micronauts with Cullen Bunn. His work includes The Tick, Warlock 5, and more.

🎟️ Ticket Info
General admission is only $5 per person — seriously! 🪩 Kids age 5 and under get in free.
Tickets can be bought online at neoshoarts.net or at the door (cash and card accepted).
If you buy online, bring your emailed receipt to exchange for your wristband at the ticket table.
Wristbands allow re-entry if you need to step out during the day.
📸 Photo Ops & Autographs
Celebrity panels are free with your ticket.
Some guest autograph or photo options (for example, Chase Masterson) may have separate pricing at the event.
👗 Cosplay Contest
Entering the cosplay contest is free with your wristband. Cash prizes are up for grabs across age groups — big bucks for spectacular costumes!
🎒 General Tips
Arrive early — there’s a full day of panels, games, and activities.
Bring items you want signed! (Just be mindful of any cosplay prop inspection rules.)
Free parking and ADA access are available at Neosho Jr. High.
