Crystal Bridges to Host Annual Art Fair October 4–5

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art will host its annual Art Fair on Saturday, October 4, and Sunday, October 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., welcoming more than 70 artists from across the country to showcase a vibrant array of arts and crafts. Set against the backdrop of the museum and its scenic grounds, including the Great Hall, South Lawn, Frank Lloyd Wright Bachman-Wilson Lawn, and Walker Landing, the festival will feature artwork in every medium, from ethically made clothing and jewelry to paintings, sculpture, woodwork, and mixed media creations. New this year, teen artists will have the opportunity to display and sell their original artwork in the Teen Art Market, expanding the celebration of creativity to the next generation of makers. Visitors can also enjoy live art demonstrations, family-friendly activities, music, and food throughout the weekend.

Crystal Bridges members are invited to a special preview on Friday, October 3, with treats from Eleven and the chance to mingle with artists in an intimate setting. On Saturday morning, October 4, the festival will open with an Early Bird Preview from 8:30 to 10 a.m., offering first entry into the Art Fair along with a complimentary beverage and sweet treat. Workshops will also be offered throughout the weekend, giving participants the chance to create recycled paper pendants, clay sculptures, cyanotype greeting cards, and mini abstract paintings. Admission to the Art Fair is free and open to the public, while tickets for the Early Bird Preview and workshops are available for purchase online.
