Free Emergency Preparedness Fair to Help NWA Residents Prepare for the Unexpected

The 19th Annual NWA Emergency Preparedness Fair returns on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 950 Seba Rd, Centerton, AR 72719.  This free, family-friendly event is designed to help Northwest Arkansas residents be better prepared for life’s unexpected challenges. 40/29 Chief Meteorologist Darby Bybee will also be on location, sharing his expertise on severe weather preparedness and meeting with attendees.


With more than 800 attendees each year, the fair has become a trusted resource for community readiness, bringing together emergency responders, preparedness experts, and local businesses. Families will find hands-on activities, live demonstrations, and educational resources that can make a real difference when disaster strikes.


2025 Fair Highlights

This year’s event offers something for everyone, including:

  • 🚁 Mercy emergency helicopter on display

  • 🚓 Live demonstrations from local police and fire departments

  • 📡 Amateur (Ham) Radio operators sharing emergency communication techniques

  • 🏠 Preparedness workshops with family safety tips and interactive booths

  • 🍔 Free lunch for all attendees


Emergencies can take many forms, natural disasters, medical crises, or even financial disruptions. The NWA Emergency Preparedness Fair equips families with tools, knowledge, and connections to feel more confident and capable in uncertain times.
