The NWA Screenwriters Collective (NWASC) invites the community to a special Spring Short Film Showcase on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 7 PM at the Fayetteville Public Library’s Walker Community Room. Six captivating short films, written by collective members, will be featured, followed by an engaging discussion with the writers and filmmakers.

This fundraiser, co-sponsored by the Arkansas Cinema Society, supports NWASC’s programs and future productions. Limited seating available—purchase tickets in advance on Eventbrite.

Highlighting the event is the premiere of "After the Beep," a new short film written by DZ Rife and produced by local partners as part of NWASC’s educational Script to Screen series. Vice President Kate Siegenthaler, also a featured writer, emphasizes the importance of this event: “These films showcase our writers' dedication, creativity, and innovation. It’s an evening of entertainment and a chance to support local talent.”

Other featured writers include Lee LaMarche, Josh Baxter, and Hannah Keener. President Amber Lindley adds, “This is an amazing opportunity to connect with the Northwest Arkansas arts community and witness the hard work of our writers brought to life.”

Don’t miss this inspiring celebration of creativity!
