Parrot Island Waterpark in Fort Smith is making waves for water safety by hosting the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson on Thursday, June 26th, from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. This free event invites kids aged 3-17 and their parents to learn essential water safety skills, helping to prevent drowning, the second leading cause of injury-related deaths in children.

Organized by the World Waterpark Association, the "World’s Largest Swimming Lesson" unites over 600 waterparks and aquatic centers across 19 countries to provide more than 20,000 hours of life-saving swim lessons in a single day. With over 40,000 participants expected, it’s a worldwide effort to promote safer water practices.

Parrot Island, known for its thrilling slides, wave pool, lazy river, and family-friendly amenities, is the perfect host for this important event. Don’t miss this opportunity to combine fun with safety education. For more details, visit www.parrotislandwaterpark.com.
